how do you remove the radio bezel?

how do you remove the radio bezel?

Cant seem to find a write up and I don't want to break it.

The horseshoe?

Pry very gently from either top corner with a plastic putty knife.

is the top and bottom one piece? they look like they are separate but in pics I see they are together.

I believe the one-piece is MY 2002+ (also known as the horse shoe)...so yours is different if you have a 2001.

I just took my 2001 interior apart to get some bits painted. The sides pop out from the bottom (easiest). The top is part of the plastic frame that holds the side pieces and also a/c controls, if that makes sense.

im not sure if you have a harbor freight near you but plastic pry tools are cheap and they make things easier for pulling dash pieces..
