Brake dust is breaking me.

I don't know what kind of brakes and pads are on my vehicle. I just recently acquired the vehicle and the brake dust is breaking me.

There is just SO much brake dust after 1-2 weeks of driving.

any solutions?

Armour All makes a pretty good product that acts like a nonstick spray for your rims.

Brake dust just wipes off with no fuss.

Thanks White Rock!

I was hoping for more of a permanent solution, any recommendations for brake pads and rotors?

You could always paint the wheels black.

Ceramic brake pads are a "low dust" pad and will keep your wheels cleaner. I'm using a set of Power Stop ceramics and the wheels are much cleaner. I also like EBC red's too.

I have a **** ton of brake dust on all of my cars, I think its due to me braking late. But I was the cars once a week anyway so it really doesn't affect me to much.

You do not need "special" rotors in order to use ceramic pads. Buy whatever rotors you're happy with.

Not at all. I have PowerStop ceramics on my Cayenne Turbo and have used EBC reds on my Aston Martin DB9 and they never made any noise. I can't speak for other brands but those are the two brands I have had good luck with. Great stopping grip and less dust on both brands that I have used. Win/win in my book.
