Well, there was a hate, but how about some love, list few things you love about the car. EVEN if it wants you to rip apart your bank account
1. Not so rare, but you dont see it every day on the street
2. most young adults cant own one (no hate here, just saying)
3. its pretty fast for grocery shopping
4. holding in price (may go up)
5. ones boost kicks in and turbos start to spin
lets not forget cold start ups

^ Nice!
Drive to work. Take care of all the customers cars.
Afternoon change pads, wheels and spoiler. Switch to track map and fill 100 octane
Drive home
Hit the track all weekend and beat on it!
Drive home
Take wife to dinner and let her drive it.
Monday morning drive it to work. Take care of all the customer cars.
Back to street mode and off to Ralph's with shopping list on the way home!
Repeat...throw some washes and oil services in there!

1.) Expensive enough to be somewhat exclusive but not expensive enough to worry about driving it
2.) Best bang for the buck on the market and it happens to be a Porsche
3.) Hate to see it go but love to watch it leave
4.) People still think its a 100k car (good for dates
)
5.) Aside from a few things (injectors and coolant pipes Im looking at you), its still pretty easy to work on.

There are very few cars I feel like I MUST have after this one. Really does everything I could ever ask of a sports car driven on the street or track for that matter. Hyper cars that you can barely use on a track let alone the street are cool no doubt, but owning one, I'll leave that to the 1%.
I love that it's a proper sports car that has back seats! Why? Cause otherwise, I'd never be able to enjoy it. I can commute with it for all the reasons already listed, but I must be able to drop my 3 and 6 yr old off. Weekend only is a no go as I rarely get time for myself to enjoy a 2 seater. Family is always in tow for errands and pleasure.
I would hate having a toy that I don't get to enjoy on a regular basis, cause I'm not saving it for the next owner. That would be like having a GF only to save her for the next guy.

It's a Porsche
It's a cabriolet
It's comfortable and fun to drive
It handles well
It looks nice
Everything works
It's never been in the shop in the 6 years I've owned it
It's easy to service myself
Nothing has broken except an accumulator and the rear spoiler which I took off.
It's fun to drive on near deserted desert roads in the triple digits for miles on end.
It's fun in the canyon twisties
It cost $78 total to renew my registration this year
Insurance is $45 mo. full coverage, unlimited miles, 1K deductible, unbelievable I know.
Real fun as a RWD, easy to convert back to AWD
Timeless lines and design, can't say that for 997 and newer
Warm, classic Natural Brown full leather interior, functional design not rakish and trendy that will quickly become dated. Huge step up from 993, simpler and more substance than 997.
The Turbo I can take or leave and really don't care about. I did want Metzger and a cabriolet, turbo was the only package offering what I wanted. That's not to say I don't get it up on full boost and kiss the rev limiter often, I do.

Thats it, I'm moving to Utah....
1. Walking towards it; thinking it's actually mine...
2. Getting in; that smell
3. Firing it up; that sound (lose bolts in engine until warm, ha ha ha)
4. Driving it; fast, the way it feels, the way it goes, the way it handles...
5. OK, I know it's more than few things...

The shape.
The color (of mine).
That I finally have another in the garage (ok it's in the shop but you get the idea).
The way it drives and the fact that I feel like I'm wearing it rather than sitting in it when I drive it.
