I believe it's under the cover to the right of the battery (drivers side). Are you having problems?

One time the wiper wouldnt turn off, so I bought a used control unit. Problem is that this happened about a year ago and have not happened after... Anyway I have the part, and will replace it

I asked, because my rain sensing wipers haven't worked since I bought my car. The wipers work, but not the rain sensing function.

I remember checking the control unit, and everything appeared to be functioning. The wipers work, so I doubt it's a fuse. When I set he delay timing, the wipers will wipe once, so I doubt it's that switch. I guess I need to check the sensor.

Later, Steve

Does the battery drain unusually fast? When my ignition switch was going bad I had some pretty weird issues with the wipers and other electrical. If you've got the stock ignition switch still it's worth considering as a source of problems if you have other symptoms.

I believe the base of the mirror is also the sensor. At least that's what I was told when I had my windshield replaced last month... Supposedly it reads through the glass from inside the cabin. If you look closely from outside you'll see what I'm talking about.

My issue appears to be the adhesive pad that holds the sensor on the windshield. For some reason, it's not on my car. I have ordered it, so hopefully it will be installed next week and I can give it a try.

Later, Steve
