The engine gasket kit came in today



I also decided to add the full CSF Radiator cooling package to this build too

UPDATE:

Heads are going off to the machine shop today or tomorrow

Engine and trans should be completed within 3-4 weeks, then just putting it all back together and getting it tuned.


For anyone interested in my K24/20s, I've dropped the price to $1,500 for just the turbos, which is a steal. Plus your keep you stock turbos to either resell or save if you ever reconvert to stock

that's a good deal for a pair of 800hp turbos

CSF Radiators will be keeping us cool all summer long! Figured after all of this, I may as well address the 14 year old cooling system before it becomes an issue.

radiators are such a hit or miss on these cars. my 996tt never had issues with them, my 997tt two were going bad and car had less miles and newer.... go figure. CSF units are a smart upgrade for sure.

Heh that's the next thing I fear going bad on my car! I'll swap to CSF eventually but would really prefer not to have to do it for awhile. They're solid pieces though for sure!

Originally I opted out of doing it during this build, but ultimately its something that will have to be done at some point. The last thing I want is to get the car back during perfect weather and then have it back in the shop. Doing it early is basically a bit of insurance for me...and there were some economies of scale considering the car is already in the shop.
