Review for the EVO MS Coolant pipe fix?

Hey guys, i cant seem to find any reviews on the EVO MS coolant fix.. I am looking at getting that one.. does anyone have any good experience with this? Driving down to sharkworks to get their fix is a bit out of the way and impractical. I am having my bumper off and doing coil packs and spark plugs next month so thinking I shld do this as well.. any feedback recommended.. thanks!

Are you talking about getting your coolant pipes welded or pinned to prevent a catastrophic loss of coolant fluid? That is typically done as an engine out repair but some have pinned them with the engine in place.
However, if you're looking at upgrading your boost hoses to the silicone ones, that can be done when you're doing your plugs and coils.
2 completely different parts and tasks though.

Thanks for the clarification, i got them mixed up. I am looking to get the coolant fix to prevent leak. How does the pinning work, do they just drill a screw into it and hold it or can you just put a clamp on it? I think that will have to be the route i take for now.

Not a quickie job generally but most can be done with the engine in the car if you're pretty handy and have a few tools. Easiest to do engine out...
