laser jammer install, any advice

In a week i will take a long drive from NY to FL.

I do have a hardwired v1 which does a great job, but for the added protection, i will feel alot more comfortable with a laser jammer.
I have been doing research and the lidatek le 30 sounds like my best bet.
i will only do the front jammer for now.

Question to whoever knows.
Is thier a way to get the wires from the front trunk to the inner part of the car (under the steering wheel)without drilling? is thier a path/firewall already?

Any tips on install? tips on placement of laser module. Any advice/ DIY appreciated.
Thanks.

There should be multiple places you can pass the wires from the trunk to the cabin without drilling.
Look around the battery area.
I guess the only place you could mount the unit is behind the front radiator duct grills.

Front bumper will have to come off. You have a few options for the wiring. There will be a rubber plug at the bottom of the front boot. The wires can be passed through there and then through the factory harness on the drivers side by the windshield. You can also run the wires under the car along the coolant lines and into the tunnel under the middle of the car. There is a grommet there as well that can be accessed by removing the center console. Front bumper is pretty easy. Remove four screws where the "hood" lines up with the bumper. Remove the sidemarkers, there will be 1 screw on each side there as well. Remove or loosen the fender liners, if you look up where you just removed the sidemarker you will see that there is another screw coming up from inside the bumper liner through the fender. remove that with a long screwdriver. A couple of screws on the bottom lip of the bumper and she will pull right off. I am not familiar with the lidatek, but you should have an empty blank somewhere in the interior, perhaps around the radio surround. That would be a safe place for the led. Speaker can be mounted in the plastic panel under the steering column. Power and ground can be found where you V1 is wired, probably in the center console under the dash.
