Bad Ignition Switch?

I think I remember reading about a problem with the ignition switch. Sometimes when I start the car (03 Turbo) the dashboard lights come on but it does not start. If I try it several times it will eventually start up ( I hope). Has anybody else have this problem and did they have to reprogram the computer or keys to do the fix? Or hopefully it is just changing the ignition cylinder.

Thanks
Arnie

Can you hear the microswith clicking everytime you push in the clutch? I have heard of that going out on other cars before and causing the same symtoms........

Yes, the switch on the clutch pedal will become loose and not make connection. I would look here first. It is a little microswitch at the top of the pedal arm.
