I cant seem to find the thread, but there was one that mentioned making a scoop similar to the 991 cup cars for the air intake. Was/ Is that made? Still curious about it.

Well, then it just depends on cost. Make them really pricey and you will sell 3. Make them cheap and you will sell 20. ;-)

 

They would of been cheap for the first ten or so, unforunately we couldnt generate enough interest.

I would. Is the fan under the rear trunk a push fan? would a scoop take away the benefit of the fan?

 

yep it pulls of pushes air down over the engine.

dont see any issues with the fan by adding the scoop as fan will still have a clear supply of air.

Allow me to throw a number in here for those who may be interested.
My FRP side scoops sell for 400. This deck lid would come in at the 6-8 hundred dollar range. Now if you put your name on the list there won't be a great shock if the piece does be one a reality.

 

I'd want to see a design idea before committing to anything...
