Latest round of mods complete. Gonna dyno next weekend. Predictions?
My wastegates are already tightened up by 7mm

I'm awd
I can assure you, I haven't raced a soul. I was spiking at 1.5 bar and now I struggle to get above 0.8. I'll figure out my issues before doing that. However, prior to buying my car, I know that there were mods installed on it that were removed because they "caused problems". BaueR has similar mods on his car, so I do have a vested interest in seeing if they actually caused problems or not.

I definitely will! I. Waiting on a Saturday that's not raining so I can make it up your way. I may just end up throwing it on a trailer to bring it up.
7mm is not enough. You need to buy a psi pump and make sure your wastegates are cracking open around 14psi. I went with upgraded wastegates and they made a difference and held boost all the way to redline.
And don't get me wrong 996tt550hp, I follow your build closely as well. I, and I think we as a large part, enjoy seeing builds of different levels. Not every build is going to result in a positive result, but it's a result none the less. That's how we make strides in this industry...by going against the grain. For better or for worse,at least we have people trying stuff with their own cars and not following textbook examples, cloning the same car. There's no way to grow unless someone is willing to try something else, or try something in ways that may not have been tried before. Give BaueR a little credit. Lets wait for results, and then advise on the next steps.
Joey your rwd and making 500rwhp is about right.
Were talking about awd dyno numbers.

Theres no results with awd its already been done 5 years ago lol. Stock k16s is just old news no one works on them. 530awhp on stock k16s is not going to happen.
Possibly not, but a revised power and could be possible. Peak numbers aren't always the be all, end all. Maybe the peak is held longer...maybe the DA is more of a benefit? Who knows until the numbers are in. Dynos are basically tuning tools. Numbers don't matter much anyway.
To say only a few hp can be had by removing the stock intake plumbing isn't so. Put a vac gauge on the inlet to the turbo and measure the drop, its huge! You won't see that with filters or fender inlets, that's a big power difference. The turbo will spool faster and hold boost longer, it becomes more efficient across the range. Breath through a cocktail straw vs so,etching normal sized and you'll understand the difference. The stock piping narrows badly and is very long, neither of which aids breathing.
Since you've just capped the piping, would it be possible to get back to back runs with and without the stock plumbing? I think the Y-pipe was swapped though so that would be a problem. Larger TB will have helped too, you'll flow more air at the same boost reading. I'll be pretty interested to see how this car dynos especially if it can be compared with other stock turbo cars...

Both cars boos leak free. One at 1 bar on stock k16s with oem Wgs and one with billets with same coolers and open exhaust running 1.2 bar lets say and both mafless just to be like you, I highly doubt your car with 500 whp max will beat a car with slot note tq and let's say 50 whp.
My tune only stock k16s beat up 997s as well. But if you think your cat will run 130 plus in a 1/4 is honestly stretching it. Car needs 600 whp to do that.
As far as you beating guys up with billets , maybe they just have bad installs, issues, cat running rich and protecting itself, or better yet, they don't know how to drive and you get then from the get go. I've seen drivers with 100 hp less beat up cars too. Yes mafless , I'm guessing fillers on turbos will make it run better. Heck, Lee in Australia picked up 7 mph just by doing that on billets. I just don't think saying what you can do and doing it justifies your assumptions. Dyno it, then take it to the 1/4 mile and then you will see if the car really mysteriously has it. If not and Your still that fast on street then your just like Hamilton on the track.
But to say that your car will beat hands down k16 billets is stretching it. I'm sorry but I disagree. Some you will but not one that is set up right.
Heck, run a 60 to 130 mph that will tell you everything. From the sound of it it should run 6.5 seconds.
