Help! Turbo to catalytic converter gasket

I'm replacing my exhaust and have a question about the gasket between the turbo and cat. The only thing that was on my car when I removed the modified oe exhaust was a ring that fits in a groove in the turbo housing.
Used fabspeed
Modified oe
Looking at the oe and used fabspeed flanges, there appears to be the outline of a different gasket. When I was looking up the part, I found the ring for the 996 and I found a gasket that's listed for 997 that appears to fit the same stud pattern. I have a set of the rings coming in soon but am I missing a gasket as well?

Thanks

That's all you need there. Technically you should replace it every time. However i just had mine off twice in the last month and re-used the old seal rings both times and and no leakage that i can tell. The issue is if it leaks it can allow O2 back in to the exhaust and fool the O2 senor into thinking you are running lean.

Thanks!
When I tried reusing them, it started running poorly after it warmed up. Now it's stalling and won't idle. I'm getting a p1508 code. Hope that it's just a leaky connection.

I just bought the same gasket and many others from autohausaz. Great prices as always. I should be doing my exhaust swap soon. Did you remove the bumper? It look like it will make the job require less cursing without the bumper in the way.

Not to bad with the bumper on. Took me about 2 hours to remove the stock and replace with Kline 2 1/2".

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll leave mine on too then. Going from a fabspeed Maxflo to a Kline 2.5". What's you first impression of the Kline?

I removed bumper and intercoolers to get better access to the top studs/nuts. Nothing was difficult to remove. Put everything back together and ran into driveability issues so I took the new exhaust back off. This time, I didn't remove the bumper/intercoolers and it was pretty easy, especially with the muffler section coming off separately from the cats as they are connected via vband.

Gaskets came in today. There was a .42mm difference in thickness between the old and new ones. I identified the real problem while I was under there. The boost hose blew off of the turbo. Doh! I am about to post a comparison video between my gutted oe exhaust and fabspeed gen1 in a new thread.

Thanks for the help!
