Hey everyone

Just came home from Essen tuning show , did meet people from RUF there and hade a look at their RUF " Nardo 590 " car at the show. The car was problably the coolest car on the hole show. Doing 0-62 in 3.2-3.3 sec. 0-124 in 10 sec. topspeed over 225mph with new gearing. The car produces over 615 TQ and over
630 HP in engine dyno. The package is avaible to 996TT and not only to RUF Vin.
The conversion takes aprox. 2 weeks + 1 week for testing. It concists new turbo,
headers, air intake, ecu, titanium conrods, clutch, air filter, exhaust with enlarged
tips and more. The price is € 50 000 + tax. I will be traveling down to RUF factory
in January with " Erik RS6.com " and testdrive the car and have a peek at the Goodzilla. If there is any interest in pictures and a video of the testdrive let med now.

As Peter mentioned we'll be travelling down to RUF to make an article. And test drive of course!

Does anybody know how we could sell that article to magazines in the USA (or elsewhere)?

Im assuming that's just the engine conversion and doesnt include the entire RUF transformation....wheels, suspension, body kit, etc.?

at a 1.2 exchange rate thats 60 grand US!! Although sweet Id rather get a second car for that...

i'm wondering how fast this car is compare to tyson or cjv's car...
0-62 in 3.2 and 124 in 10 sec...with topspeed of 225mph...
this is similar to McLaren F1's category...

124 in 10... does this mean it's closet o 10sec in 1/4 mile as well? if so this is one freaking fast car...
I'm kinda confused... while other cars producing similar result in HP range... eg. Stage 4 GT... or even the Stage 5 with 700HP...
the performance is less than ruf... when tested... eg. 0-62 or 1/4 mile...
I wonder why...~><~...

I actually asked mr Ruf about that and he said Ruf has BIG horsepower and the others have little horsepower and then
giving me a big smile.
