Lower Control Arm from EPS

Hi

Car is 2002 996tt. Any one used these lower control arms from EPS on their 996tt? These fit the turbo model (I assume all 996 use the same arms)? And how are they?

Thanks!

If your looking for reasonably priced ones with the same joint as factory see elephant racing. I saw these too last year and from what most people said they are not a good idea. I could not find anyone they'll at actually had them though.

factory is a balljoint, zero deflection and 'zero' resistance to movement....the ones above using a bushing are a bad idea...

OK! There are many non-TRW (factory) replacement. Are these of the original ball-joint design? Can they do the work? I previously had one of those non-OEM designs they seem to rattle a year or two later...

Thanks!

Another case of people trying to reinvent the wheel only to end up with an inferior part... Buy the OEM stuff and be done with it. It's cheap and it works. End of story..

I stumbled across a video on YouTube by the manufacture of these arms a while back. They were actually trying to make the stiffness of the bushing a selling point. They were "loading" the suspension which was supposed to be good. What a load of....

These arms reduce performance and don't even offer a significant savings over what is a relatively inexpensive part to begin with. Utterly pointless.
