Not always true as the NR auto is also a GT2 rep made from poly. But to your point if it's glass its def A/M.

I have an OEM GT2 decklid and wing at home. I can take a picture of the part number and it's location when I get at home Friday. There are replicas out there with the fake Porsche logo and number molded in but it's rather easy to tell them apart as the difference in fit and finish is night and day. The OEM wing angle is adjustable while most of the fakes/reps are not. The OEM parts prices have gone through the roof this year as Porsche now wants over $18K for complete decklid/wing combo. Last year you could still get it for under $10K.

that would be super helpful, thanks!! reps that have porsche logo and p/n would fool 99% of the people out there I guess.
I hope I have some real parts here. Insane how the oem stuff has gone up that much.
Post up some picture of the aluminum cam/hinge mechanism where the wing attaches to the decklid. The OEM cams are vary expensive at over $1000 each, the replicas will not have the same ones obviously.

FVD uses these. Same design allowing the wing to change the angle of attack. And then the litte covers that go over them.

1. The PN on the OEM GT2 decklid is just below where the latch is on the decklid. The part number 996.512.233.31 does NOT match the number in PET.
2. There is a Porsche logo along with "MADE IN GERMANY", 996.512.221.31 and some other writing molded into the decklid to the left of the decklid latch just below the rubber weather seal.
3. There is also a small sticker with the letters "FT" and two lines of wording that state "Turnwald" on the first line, "F 57150 CREUTZWALD" on the second line and a 5 digit number below that. The number will start with 096XX. Turnwald is the name of the company that is located on the French border in the town of Creutzwald (zip code 57150) that makes the deck lids. Turnwald has made deck lids for Porsche for several decades.
