Motion Control Suspension
Motion Control Suspension
I just got back from a HPDE event at Watkins Glen yesterday, so naturally I can't sleep and am looking at new car parts.
While at the track my instructor and I were talking suspension upgrades, and he recommended Motion Control Suspension 2-way non remote. Another owner, with a similar car as mine told me he owned a set also.
I searched around, but have not found any significant reviews. I'm considering a suspension upgrade for a car that drives on the street and hopefully 4+ weekends at the track year.
Thanks!

I second that and his customer service is beyond great. I can not say enough good things about him.
I haven't heard anything but good about Motion Controls. You can call and talk to Lex himself and he's as patient as they come answering questions. His resume speaks for itself. JRZ have very mixed reviews depending on who you ask. I have some 2 way RS pro's and frankly my single adjustable cheap JIC's were faster and had better chassy control. Im switching as soon as the season is over.
That being said, Tim is great and can find a setup that will work for you.

MCS is big and very proven in the BMW scene. We switched all our M3 builds to it over the last few years with outstanding results. My personal e30m3 run DA external MCS's and I can tell you that I shaved 2 seconds of my best time at Sebring first weekend out. Fine tuning and incremental adjustability with just 1-2 clicks is very precise and noticeable.
I don't run it on my Porsche so no direct experience on this model. But MCS as a brand is top notch!

Correct but mostly just one guy. Lex was the man at Moton USA. Moton itself got bought out by ACS (I think thats the name) and still exists. Lex developed his own suspension line which is motion control.
So Moton is ex-JRZ guys, and MCS is ex-Moton guys? Seems like as long as stick with this group of people then you can't really go wrong... I was pretty set on JRZ myself, but a local guy has offered me a set of Motons at a price that I can't really say no to. Interesting to see how all of these companies are connected.
