I looked into the Porsche RS, but ended up going with the Rennline units due to the adjustability of switching out the inserts. Finding the perfect isolation, and they look custom milled. They also came with both 996/997 and 993 threaded inserts. With the 993 ones being about 1/2" shorter compared to the 996/997.

I installed the Porsche RS mounts. I like to keep it Porsche if possible. They did increase trans whine, but i could only telll with the stock exhaust on. With my Kline 2 1/2" on there is enough exhaust noise that i cannot hear it. It is a nice add on that tightens up the car, i did not feel the night and day difference some people relate.

I have the Torque Solutions installed. When lowering engine as long as you have a jack under engine, really doesn't matter whether the nut or stud loosens. If stud were to come all the way out you could simply remove mount from top, reinstall as stud and then re install mount as usual.
