Help with wheels and tires

I am thinking of new wheels and tires. I want the 19 inch SSR GT3's. What is the biggest tire I can get with that wheel? This is only for street when I go to the track I would use the stock 18's on MPSC tires.

Who sells them?

Thanks

You guys can hate on the SSR's all you want but they are still nice wheels. Some may disagree, but they don't bend any easier than any other wheel with a lip that large. They have forged centers and spun aluminum inner and outer barrel sections, and I have NEVER had someone who has bought a set complain of the quality of the finish. Look, Any 5 spoke wheel that wide is basically unsuppoted throughout 75% of it's width as well as between the spokes. You throw in a 25 series tire and the end product is a wheel that you have to take care of and be careful with - ANY wheel this big will bend easily.

Thing is it isnt just on wide porsche wheels.. Ive seen SSR professor sp1's on lots of evo's with banged up lips and so many bends that i have not seen on any other car, could be NY roads that contribute BUT my bbs's, iforged have never bent on NY roads .. GT3's also on the m3's and so on get bent up real easy, just from what ive seen though

good to hear you are looking at new wheels Buddy. never cared for those chromies. No go on the SSR's. I believe SSR went out of business? I kinda liked them in 2000-2001, only with a Brembo big brake kit behind them, but after that they got extremely played out and boring. their rim quality was sub par anyhow.

with the track approach to your car in mind I recommend checking out the following links for step lipped 18" :

Champion wheels are also some of the best and lightest.

SSR is back into production and new wheels are due to be on the water to us in the next several weeks. I have a thread in the wheels/tires section on this.
