random picture request involving cobalt blue

So im doing a widebody bmw e36 m3 project until a nice, cheap cobalt blue or carrara white 996 turbo pups up. I am undecided between three colors: carrara white, (porsche) cobalt blue, or (bmw) estoril blue.

Unfortunately, ive never seen cobalt blue and estoril blue at the same time under the same lighting, so I cant really know which one i like better (regardless, those have to be the best shades of blue ever made). Does anyone, by any chance in hell, have a picture of an estoril blue m3 and a cobalt blue porsche in the same picture in the same lighting so i can see the difference? thanks!

I'd have to agree. I owned an Estoril Blue M3 for a couple years and have seen a few Cobalt cars in person and the Cobalt IMO is nicer. Just a bit darker blue whereas the Estoril could look light in bright sunlight.

Exactly, both are gorgeous and unique colors, the Estoril has more of a turquoise look in light and person, cobalt is like a metallic neon type blue, i love the Cobalt!

BTW i want that damm cobalt GT2 so badly

martin thanks for the help, but i was looking for cobalt and estoril in the same picture so i can get an idea under the same light. It going to be nearly impossible to find a picture like that. I would trade in our silver gt2 and my left ******** for a cobalt blue gt2. so damn hot

I think I would rather choose between Cobalt or Nogaro Blue from the Audi S4. I am not a fan of Laguna Seca and Estoril is Ok. Cobalt and Nogaro have a depth and character that the other two lack..........

Is that a BMW individual (custom) M3 b/c it wasn't a regular color for newer M3's. It actually looks like the (smurf) blue that was a standard color, not estoril.

estoril was also a standard color on the previous model m3 (96-99), which is how the color got so popular.
