The Rematch: Alex's 996TT vs. Darius' TT Viper (previously owned by Gary Javo)
from reading a bit on the www.viperalley.com board.... they seemed to be really POed at someone over here for what they said was a cheap shot.. a bull sh*t video that didnt prove anything... so I can understnad why they would in turn go ahead and post a run that they hooked on... one or two out of 10 I believe... and to them won....
thats why i dont think it will happen...
I dont understand... a twin turbo viper that hooks at 100 mph... why would anyone want that... no wonder why they dont want to run 30 mph rolls...
...If taht was a race in chicago.. it would never happen... I have a hard time finding races from a 30 mph roll let alone 100 mph...

This whole race has become a joke IMO, who cares anymore. I agree with what a few have already said, a roll at 100, blah blah. The guy in the Viper has to have slicks, again blah blah. Win or lose the Porsche is a better car, PERIOD, it's an everyday car, end of story.

I think the real test would be 0-150 or 180.
They appear to concede to the 996tt off the line and they think they can make it up after 100 mph. If the Viper waits much longer to race VR then he is going to find himself with another 996tt on the other side.
And we won't need drag radials with our setup.

In the above statement I not taking a thing away from VR's car. I know it is one of the fastest 996tt's in the world. Each car has it's own strength's and weaknessess. I'd really love to see how the Viper does against each one from a standing start to 150 mph. We all know there are some pretty fast Vipers out there. The above contest would give each car a opportunity to shine.
Of course the first one to 150 wins. This contest would require the cars to be well sorted in all areas.

With the above setup, we bent all six rods two years ago using street tires and alot less power.
Of course our tires on all four are just a little wider and a wee taller profile, we'll also be use a zero camber setting.
How do you think a Viper would do on street tires from 0-150? You know these are all fast cars. Maybe we ought to find out how they do on both types of tires?

Alexander called the guy(darius) a couple of times... but had no return calls...
... maybe hes still in Miami??? or just trying to put in last minute NOS.
at least thats what he tried to do the first time....
Again... If a guy drives up here in chicago to anyone thats ready to race and says 100 mph roll... everybody would laugh at him... that is the most rediculous thing Ive ever heard as well.... its all about 1/4 street racing.

Darius have huge ego, but a very ***** personality. What a combination!!
Putting on last min NOS and adding slick tires on top of that. That must be a freakin JOKE! Plus only post the runs that benefit him while they did a handshake not to post any of the run.
So this is how it really goes in his head or how he say it to others
Darius "My car can take on the porsche NO PROBLEMOOOOO"
Inside Darius (**** i don't know if i should ***** out or not!?!? Maybe i should add nos and slick tires. Nah maybe i just post some of the videos and thats the end of it. Yah i m a ***** but i eat stinky ***** for lunch!)

Now lets talk KA!!! I will be back in the bay area on Friday, give me a call if you want to drive my turbo over the weekend. I strongly believe that after driving her, I can definetly persuade you to put GT40R's on KA....

Maybe I should post a 9 second (street tire) quarter mile video just to ****-off Gary Javo, since he has never broken into the 9's with the Twin Turbo Viper.....then again who cares!

I have seen some 911's run low 10's but nothing ever into the 9's. That would be sick!
