Exhaust ****....

After a long wait, the UW Titanium exhaust as finally arrived. I am a perfectionist and don't get impressed very often, but in this case I have to say this exhaust has exceeded my expectations in every possible way.. After roughly a year and a half of going back and forth with Chris on finalizing and tweaking the design, he finally got it done. The exhaust employs all of what we had learned over the last few years. The final result is simply stunning and was worth the wait. I have owned and tried numerous exhausts over the last 9 years of owning my car and there is simply no comparison. This exhaust is a work of art and a shame to hide behind a bumper. Enjoy some exhaust ****....

UW Titanium 3.5"/3.0" exhaust with anti-drone Helmholtz resonators, 4.0" flex joints, 5.7" Emitec/HJS Motorsport CATS, 3.5" CAT bypass pipes, and both 3.0" quad and slant cut tips. Including all hardware, total weight of the exhaust is 19.2 lbs with bypass pipes and 23.6 lbs with CATS.

Exhaust assembled with CATS

Exhaust assembled with bypass pipes

Limited production Titanium nameplate. Only a handful of these were made

5.7" (145mm) Emitec/HJS Motorsport PE 100cpi catalyst (achieves full flow efficiency up to 400hp each/ 800hp pair). These are the largest catalysts ever fitted to a 996GT2/TT exhaust. These were Ti ceramic coated. Note the detail touches like the recessed primary bung and the dimples in the cones to clear the nuts easier.

3.5" bypass pipes with 3 lambda bungs

Titanium 4.0" flex joint on each side of the exhaust will absorb any and all contraction and expansion stress from heat cycling.

Weld quality throughout is simply stunning

3.5" primary exhaust diameter will easily swallow a tennis ball. This exhaust will flow...

Interior detail of the 3.0" quad tip

Very nice! Did those super dense intercoolers ever pan out?

I have the previous generation of this exhaust in stainless steel and it's relatively loud outside but very pleasant inside to easily carry on a conversation with your passanger. It's amazing what effect getting rid of any resonance/drone has on the overall sound of the exhaust. My ears are extremely sensitive and I can't deal with drone. I've previously used a Europipe Loud which was a beautifully crafted exhaust with top notch cats but droned a lot and gave me a headache in 5 minutes, a Speedtech 2.5 quiet which also droned and became unpleasant in short order, a RUF exhaust which was very good overall with very unique high pitched sound and virtually zero drone, and a Kline Inconel 70mm which had very little to no drone but was too quiet and a bit flat. All the above are fine exhausts in their own right but not in the same league flow or sound wise. The helmholz resonators are a game changer...

I have a plate on the car so I can but rarely do. I drove it about 500 miles on the street last year to break in a clutch and the rest was track use.

I don't believe GMG uses helmholz resonators on any of their exhausts. I'm in the US...

Beautiful. This is very similar to the spec I'd like to have UW build (plus no muffler straight pipes)

I would love to hear this... post up some videos once you have it installed!

Looks freaking epic. Can't wait to hear how this one sounds and your impressions on sound quality and drone on this vs. your original version.

I can't for the life of me figure out why these aren't more widely utilized on so-called high-end, "no-drone" exhausts.

That's an amazing setup you've got there, PH. If it sounds even half as good as it looks, I'd call it a win. Please, for the rest of us, post some high quality audio.
