I called a porche dealership and they have no clue how to use it. It didnt come with instructions. The bottom 3 lights interchange when you push the mode button so you can put it on "car" mode. But the top 3 lights dont light up. Arent they supposed to? I was told you can float the battery or charge it. Anybody know how this thing works? thank you

show the ends of the wire. Presumably you plug it into the
wall, and the other wire either connects to the two battery
terminals, or plugs into the cigarette lighter. Put it in 'car mode',
and the car mode light should be on. Leave it overnight and then
the third top light should go on when the battery is fully charged
(my guess). The middle light means 'low charge' I guess.

yes, one end goes into the cig lighter and the other into the wall outlet. But shouldnt 1 of the top lights go on when charging? and what is the float & charge mode as I read online? thanks

I have one and just keep it plugged into the lighter socket all winter with the "car" mode selected. Car is always fully charged. No problems. Pretty sure the other 3 lights show amount of charge... low, medium, full.

Yes, the car icon stays lit and one of the three: low, middle or full light should stay on.

i've sold few here & some got it as X'mas present from me.

just pick the ''car'' & let it do its job. the light on top should light up depends on the battery condition.
