Torque Solution Intercooler Boost Hose Set issues
Interesting - So I spoke to Shaun at AWD Motorsports who initially only wanted to send me the adapters and call it a day to which I objected stating that two additional adapters is great but won't fix the hoses not fitting. He called the fitment "installation errors" on my part. I took offense to this as they would have never fit and my pictures prove it...and advised to please try them on any stock 996 TT they have in their position to prove me wrong. This is my second 996TT both of which were modified, not to mention I was once (in my old life) a ASE mechanic and know my way around an engine bay. Any-who they are taking care of me and sent me a return shipping label so I'll be returning for a refund.
Stick with the new style OEM hoses Scott. They were redesigned about 5 years ago and are bullet proof. You wanna use the new style OEM rectangular profile C-clips instead of the old style round ones. I've run the OEM hoses for several hundred track hours at 1.2 bar without any issues. There is zero reason for the aftermarket hoses unless you want pretty colors in your engine bay...The aftermarket stuff is nothing but headaches and this is just more proof.

You are welcome. Yeah, the new style OEM hoses are excellent. I would not look elsewhere.
They are sending me additional fittings. My hoses were looking a bit old so I just ordered these as they were a good deal. We shall see how they fit in a few weeks. I need to get off my *** and finish my car for this year.
