I have noticed on my new to me 01 996 turbo the car will unlock itself randomly. Since I have owned it over the past year the key remote hasn’t worked so I have been locking it manually. The last few weeks I have noticed it randomly unlocks itself. I get the two beeps when unlocking it normally and have read that signifies a problem with the central locking. What should I be looking for to solve the random unlocking issue. I have thought about getting the advanced key system but unsure if this would override the central unlocking and cure the issue. Looking for opinions.
