Brake pad cutting and fitting question

I ordered a track pad from Project mu and found there is cutting different from the diagram, but the diameter and model are all correct, would it fit in at all?

I don't remember ever seeing a notch like that on any of the pads I have used in my TT.

Had some research, seems to be its for the brake pad sensor...

No... The sensor plug is a hole in the edge of the brake pad backing that drops in from the top and runs parallel to the pad surface. The yellow arrow points to the hole.

Humm - cool - none of mine had a notch that went so far down - just a little tab, but not a round hole at the bottom. Maybe it's a brand thing?

Those are the 6 piston caliper pads and the notch is for the brake sensor which most guys don't use anyway.
