Ohlins R&T settings

Checking the recommended "click settings" for those who have these installed with stock sway bars.

Any input from guys running this setup is appreciated.

Im in the middle of my install, and my gut has me setting them all on 12 clicks. I only drive on the streets.

Their scale is something like 0-7 track, 7-10 winding road, 10-20 street.

Curious what you guys started with and ended up with... it would definitely save me some time since no one I know has them for me to try out.

i run 12 / 8. But i mess around with them a lot. On REAL long road trips, i'll often run 0/0 to not kill my ****ing back.

What did you do to the interior so you can easily adjust the rears?

I have a cab, so its gonna be a PITA no matter what. But I'm still curious.

Also what seats?

Stock seats. I just crawl back and lift the panel. Coupe so it's easy.

I run 10/10. It's good at the track, and seems less harsh than oem on the road. Never felt a need to change.

I stuck with 12/12 its fine. Might tweak it after a few hundred more miles.

But MY LORD are these things amazing! Totally different car. They are everything advertised. Much nicer ride and probably less than half of the ridiculous rebound stroke of oem - which was the main thing I wanted to eliminate. I've been seeking rough road, whacking bumps, train tracks, etc, these babies are totally unphased and they haven't bottomed out at all. Its like magic.

One thing I noticed is that the rear power slides now, whereas mine never did before. It's either really awesome, or going to kill me. I haven't experimented enough to know the difference yet. I have to relearn how to drive the car.

PSA-there is going to be a recall on these, and they are telling customers not to drive their cars in the meantime. Threads on Rennlist about it.

Yes, the recall thing is going on, am in touch with the dealer and distributor. The distributor said that the dampers will probably have to be replaced, let's see.

Regarding settings for the road, I settled on 13 rear, 15 front. Takes off the understeering tendency by slightly loosening the rear. Great fun playing with the settings.

For those of you in the US, here's the official information: https://www.nhtsa.gov/equipment-deta...643749#recalls

There's some interesting background information.

Ohlins sent my recall replacement front struts. They included Elephant Racing camber plates.

Took 2 months total from them issuing a recall to me getting my parts. Not too bad..
