Considering the Dealers in Cali will pay between $110-120K you'd better think between $125-135K provided the car hasn't been chipped, is certifiable and in pristine condition...and it'll still be a bargain.

Is a GT2 that has been modified worth less than a dead stock car? I thought having an engine package helped value, but that the seller would only recover maybe 30% of the cost of mods.

30% seems a bit high

 

Mod or stock it's all depends on having the right buyer.

 

Mod and you might not (me the worry wart says will not) have a warranty, and an engine for a GT2 isn't cheap.

If you need to mod this car for power, you obviously need a different car, and should spend the money on getting an FI license.
