I took my alternator apart because the rear bearing wore out. It looks like it was rebuilt at some point. Takes a little force to pull it apart. Large 3 arm puller to separate it. I took a few pictures if anyone needs to see how it comes apart.
I replaced the Phillips head screws with some Torx. Also, the plastic cover for the bearing cracked. The cover needs to be aligned in the alternator housing so the voltage regulator fits. Test fit it before assembling eveything.
