I've tried searching and couldn't find a solid answer. For those of you who have gone MAFless, what did you do with hose #19? Did you just cap off that side of the T (#15)?

I just left it open. There's a check valve to keep it from sucking anything in. 6 years MAFless. Zero issues.

Good to know. This is my next step. I'm tired of getting MAF codes from time to time. The weird thing, I usually get them after I wash the car. I've checked to see if there is a short or something of that sort and nothing. I was running MAFless on my last car and raced the car for 3 years with zero issues. I hope I have the same luck when I go over to MAFless on the turbo.

Running mafless as well…..I had a vacuum leak that I chased forever and the #19 was the culprit. Mine had somehow melted down by the turbo end and it didn’t quite cauterize itself when it happened. This gave me a random vacuum leak as it wasn’t sealed off anymore. I replaced the check valve that intersects at part #15 and ran some silicone vacuum line to vent it. At the other end by the turbo I used a cap on the tube.

I'm running mafless, but just have the maf unplugged. No issues with any vent hoses.

Are most of you running MAFless running a different intake filter setup? Can you share what you're running?

I'm on A28s and have both MAF and MAFless tunes with Cobb. Debating what my next step will be as my intake is likely the next bottleneck. Perhaps a fender intake setup which should greatly wake up spool and response.

Would also like to add some audible drama. The turbos are so quiet, would be great to get some spool noise to the mix.

I'm still running the factory airbox. Not a restriction for me but I'm not running turbos as large as you are. I would also like some more intake noise but when I tried out an EvoMS airbox, I really couldn't hear it at all. It also blew out my MAF (I was still running one then) so I got rid of it.

I’m running stock air box and a bmc panel filter. Mafless and fvd k16/24 turbos / 5 bar fpr and a tune from Sam at by design on the cobb platform. Kline exhaust with 100 cell hjs cats. The Kline and 100 cell cats make for nice sound. My next upgrade will be on the intake side and replacing that with the fvd intake and soft tubing and that should also increase the sound and power . I have the Kline test pipes and with those installed it is really a subl8me drone free sound.
