Another thumbs up for SharkWerks!

I had bought a smoked rear tail light from Alex, and had some minor gasket fitment issues. Nothing major, but told Alex about it, and he immediately sent a new part to me that fit alot better without asking for any kind of payment or CC number. Of course I am sending the old part back, but he has offered to pay for the return shipping for the part. I am going to pay the few dollars to ship it back, but to have somone so upfront and concerned that I the consumer is happy with the transaction is absolutely incredible. I have only bought a few items from Alex, and he has treated me like one of his best clients. He is always very helpful and answers any questions I have. Unfortunately I am in Maryland, and cannot take my car to him for mods...but probably best so I still have a balance in my savings account.

Hey Bong, again thanks for the kind words. Seriously man, I love doing this stuff and try hard to be the same person I was with the same expectations when I was a customer. Hopefully it works. I don't feel like any of you guys should ever get jerked around. I know from experience what it's like at the previous place James and I feel really lucky to have 6speed to support with this stuff. I don't know who else would put up with us...

It's a good thing you're not hear lol... I see some more modding in your future tho!

I definitely agree.

I have not bought anything from Alex yet. I got Ed's GT2 and had a few questions about camber plates and adjustments..... He referred me to dealer to buy camber shims.... and was helpful.

Thanks Alex. It is nice to people in the industry with this level of flare.

I've known and loved that GT2 almost like it was my own! I have VERY fond memories of it from when James W owned it. You have to get the video from the shoot out when Darren Law went out and did a victory "drift" parade lap after it won the road course event. That was awesome....

I think the camber shims will be your cheapest and best solution. Changing out the camber plates on the GT2 isn't worth it since you already have adjustable control arms from the factory Plus it'll make less noise that way... there are two types of shims that if I remember correctly. One kind is stupid expensive (and you don't need it) and I think it has a provision for the abs sensor to be clipped to it. Just get the regular ones that are much cheaper because I think that car should or already has the expensive ones on each side.

Hey Wilson, you were very helpful too with the EVO! Don't let me catch you in a GT3... You want a TT. You want to have some big power so... Did you check out Jason's car? Already has the GT640 on it. A really good deal on that!

Alex, for track use with Hoosiers tires, what do you recommend as alignment setting?

I'm no "alignment" expert but we had some nice alignment specs from the Peterson White Lightning Race team crew that helped do the alignments for the shoot out cars (namely your GT2). I'll try and find the sheet if I still have it. I do remember that the Camber in the rear was 3 degrees:P

Alex is one of the few honest/real people to deal with. He owed me $'s from apurchase and I didn't get back to him for the credit for appx 6 months but he remebered and took care of it and now I owe him $'s but he hasn't sent the bill collector after me. A real stand up guy who can be counted on to do the right thing
