Evo Gt 700 10 Sec Pass
Congratulations, this is an excellent time considering your car's weight and the operational 4WD.
Where is the rev limiter on the GT700 set at? I would think it has been raised to 7000RPMs at least?

CONGRATULATIONS... and I mean it...

THANK YOU JOE!!!! Finally, a GT700 at a track that is "kind" - 10.88 AWD, Pump gas, 19" wheels. It will MUCH faster than that if it were set up as a 1/4 mi car with 2WD, drag radials, race gas, etc.
This should bring some clarity to the big debate as to why the GT700 cannot run 10's. For those that have not run 1/4 mile passes in AZ or LV, it is not the ideal place for fast times. If you run fast any other place in the country, you will be disappointed if you try to break any records here. Most all of the 1/4 mile records are set at the known fastest tracks in the country: NJ, FL and TX.
I am glad you got it done Joe. Let me know when you want to get into the 9's.

[QUOTE=Craig Joe was on 19 in street tires, in AWD, using pump gas, at a slow track. Sounds entirely consistent to me. This most certainly should resolve the debate. Two great times by two VERY fast cars.

Again I congratulate for the great run.. thats exactly what I expected all this time......
I looked at the pics.. hard to make it out.. but those rims look like stock 18s... so if it ran on 19s... WOW....
