I don't have proof but it ran 11.01 @ 114-115 on the timeslip.
Just a little perspective from a 6speed point of view:
If you clipped the 1/8 at 118mph (based on my personall experience) you should hit 151mph in the quarter at a et of 9.72 (given your 60-foot time is 1.62 or better). Great Job!!! Are you having the "Craig" treatment done to your tranny??
All in all....I BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE A 9second TIP!

I have some new treatment indeed, however it was 114mph and not 118
Also remember my gearing is different so I doubt it would have been that fast. More like 143 or 141...

Just my 2 cents.

IMO. The tip will have a lower trap speed due to the gearing that affects the balance of the run. While a 6 speed will shave to hift to 5th. most probably to reach that trap speed, the tip will be in third gear, better times due to shifting twice less but slower trap speed due to ratios. Does it make any sense?
Alexander, when r u going to put up the video from willow springs ....

I don't think you will get many miles out of another stock unit before your bust it. While you may have squeezed 36k miles out of your last tranny, most of those miles were driven with a less powerful set up than you currently have. I suspect your current set up will bust a new tranny in much less than 36k miles. Consider beefing up your tranny to handle your HP. Perhaps you can install a used tranny in your car for the time being and send your busted unit to Germany for strengthening. That way, when you snap your second tranny (and you definitely will), you will already have a strengthen unit ready to go.
Just my 2 cents.

The plan is to put one in for now to drive and whilst it's being beat on to see what we can do with the one that broke.... I have talked to all kinds of people and whilst they initially say they can do it, I'm more worried that all they will do is "paint it blue" (aka do nothing) and ship it back. Nobody really opens these up.. Even 9ff, I'll bet you they don't do it in-house. I'm a bit weary of that company to be honest- they ripped off some folks I know
I think Jean has had similair experiences although I hope yours goes ok!
