Hey Marksi, I knew you had issues with your various FVD set ups and such but I didn't know you had any with the EVOMS? In fact did you have a full-blow EVO set up ever or was it a mix and match of software, different turbos etc... Just wasn't sure? One thing I did find out and is that the GT640 software works with those turbos and trying to use it for other turbos works but it's not optimally tuned that way.

My best was a 13s ET so I don;t have much experience in drags and I certainly would not dream in getting to the 10s, but I just trying to understand better...

Something does not add up if the car was running 19s. Care to share where is the rev limiter for a GT700 set at? If it is beyond 6900RPMs and running only 18s it should already take you through the trap speed in 4th. not 5th? Do you agree?

Todd do you have any cars running 9s?

I was looking at the pix and I think that car ran 18s? Street tires from what I could see? Looks like stock skinny wheels

Anyways, if you make your 933TT a "Sportmatic" I'll show you how to do 10s. Running what we ran Friday, I think it's very possible my car would have trapped 141 or so as hard as it went for the first three gears. With a hard launch on those tires I would certainly have gotten better than my 1.601 that I got on street tires months ago. But I'm not going to play ricer-math on the boards. I think it can be done in these two cars with the right conditions.

PS At least I can beat a CGT's time my 11.01 with three gears I'm so very proud of that... 11.01 @ 114mph- just sounds cool.

I had no idea that Todd was actually a real road race instructor! Just found that out this weekend so he's more in your camp Jean than the drag racing

Around here Englishtown is considered a slow track. If at Atco where my personal experience with my other cars is about 2 tenths quicker it probably would have run better but i don't like to speculate.Short times could have been better but track was a little slick after rain showers.Wish i had more than three runs to play around with launch techniques.First launch was 3500, 2nd was 3800, 3rd was 4000.Wanted to launch at 4500 but didn,t get a fourth pass as the night session was starting and they only guarantee 3 passes.Lost alot of time due to rain delay.

Thanks for clarifying that Marksi and sounds like you had a lot of different set ups. One thing I've learned is that mixing-matching stuff from all over doesn't always work sadly GIAC does tuning for a few other tuners and I don't know enough about the Speed Gallery kits. However all of the EVOMS GT640 kits tuned by GIAC we've done have been bloody fast They have different hardware obviously. I'll take out a customer Tip to the track sometime soon and back up my own 11.1 run from the track many moons ago.
