Does anyone know if this is true?
Does anyone know if this is true?
I was up at Knockhill racetrack today, I was speaking to a couple of guys in pit area (racing GT3's) I mentioned to them that I have the PSI flash in my Turbo and that i'm going to upgrade again, they were telling me that they deal a lot with Manthey (very well respected as you all know!) and that it's the same guy that does both development/programming (PSI & Manthey) has anyone heard about this? Neil are you around!!! Answers please!
Neil said YES a few days ago....

So does anyone realize what kind of tuning package you would be getting here! You are getting 2 companies that are leaders in the Racing world surely your tuning package is going to be to to a standard that is unsurpassed!
Don't get me wrong here!, I know the majority here use GIAC, which everyone seems to love also and I'm sure is a good package too, but I would also check out the PSI package, It seems to be underated in the US when they are quite clearly leaders in the Euro market and when you drop Manthey into this, well that says it all!!! It's just when I was doing my upgrade I looked into this very thoroughly, I spoke to a few racing drivers/teams, porsche independants and was on the net for god knows how long (I remember even asking this forum, lol), and seems that I have made the right choice in choosing PSI.
It must be difficult trying to take on the US market with a Euro product and vice versa, (GIAC is unknown here in Europe) and I think there is a tendancy to go with what others have tried and tested!
I personally love to see another shootout of both low end and high end performance packages, exactly like the Vegas shootout but include maybe 2/3 Euro tuners in there!
It would only benefit us all in the end, to see which package suits the customer best!!!

I have also known this to be true.
Many of the skeptics doubt this but this gentleman,
Andsgar: is very, very talented in the European tuning world.
He has helped many others in a pinch as well.
