Question Will getting GT2 intercoolers for a TT in Vegas help in terms of performance???

As the title states, will getting the GT2 intercoolers on my stage 2 TT help out the performance especially since I'm at 3,000 feet elevation and have to deal with very hot summers? I've heard that they will help from some people and I've heard they will actually reduce HP unless I have the K24 turbos. I'm really confused here...

save urself the trouble... I had them as well.. they r still FIN type design... not very efficient compared to BAR & PLATE... call SAM at speed gallery and get urself a real intercooler... otherwise u can get something like mine...
but I dont suggest it on a stock K16..

I'm pretty sure some GT2 intercoolers will help a K-16 set up pushing 1.1bar... I'd personally consider trading for hybrids (Kevin's) but I'd never trade my k-16's for straight k-24's simply because low end torque is EVERYTHING on the twisty roads I drive specially for taking you out of U-turns...

Mark said Kevin's zero clearance turbo's provide full boost from 1st to 6th at a rather low RPM, meaning the torque and power out of those turn's!

They are supposed to be 10% more efficient. Hence, they should allow the car to not loose as much power in hot climates or if driven hard at the track.

I have them too... but a 10% increase in cooling is not worth $1100 .. I would rather add another $900 and get something real.. bar and plate... and if I ever upgraded to bigger turbos... I would be done...
For those who seen a stock endtank... its a shame that those cars came with such ICs... but then the the stock k16s were no ment to push above .8 bars...

Neil that really isn't true. Once they become a restriction in the system and you go with something less restrictive you WILL make plenty more power... whether that's on a Porsche, Mitsu or any other car Just physics...

Are you saying that pushing the K-16's to 1.0bar (as all level one and level two's) will kill them? Or do you mean they were not meant to push above .8 as much as K-24's were not meant to push above 1.0 (by Porsche)?
