Rich from www.speedlingerie.com sent me these pictures of a speed yellow gt2 nose bra. I was quite impressed with the color and the quality of this product. I inquired about these bra's a while ago but never followed up on it becuase I stopped driving the porsche long distance -
Anyway if you drive long distances and are **** about chips like me ( I dont care for the plastic film stuff ) This is a must have product

we have one for our vette that we use when we go on road trips!
It's one of the best looking bras i've seen. And it fits great. It sometimes takes 2 people to help get it on though as it doesn't stretch much, but we love it!!

I have a black one and I also love it!! Went up to their shop personally and they custom installed it. Really not necessary but it was nice to meet the guys. Great product and no problems with high speed runs. They told me it was tested to 165 mph.
Andreas
also make mirror bras which I have.

Man, That's perfect!!! I wonder if they have one for the front of the GT3??? I am getting tired of kinking out my car with deviant latex...

Rockitman call them - when I inquired first about the gt2 nose bra in 01 they were hesitant to make it due to the limited production numbers of the gt2 - then I showed rich that the bumper will be added on to TT's and c4S 's and they made em' realizing there was more of a market then they figured
I told him to do the same for the GT3 nose so Iwould try and give them a shout

the problem is with those covers is that when dirt gets underneath the leather its like sand paper on your paint. I think the Clear film is much better, I have had it on all of my cars. Also it kind of looks cheezy in my opinion. Reminds me of something that would go on a Trans-am.
Darren,
I'm with you, I don't like the clear bra stuff.
I actually called SpeedLingerie about a month ago about a Cayenne bra. Unfortunately, they don't make one yet. I was trying to get one before the winter to save my front end. Hopefully, they'll have one soon, but it will already be too late!

I had a regular bra here in Arizona and it was a disaster!
Sand, dust, moisture... would get under it NO MATTER HOW CAREFUL YOU WERE and it did more damage to the nose of my SC400 than the rocks did.
Never again will I own a regular bra.
While I'd prefer not to have the lines associated with a clear bra; I love the protection.
On light colored cars; clear bras are VERY difficult to detect... unfortunately for me, I have a dark blue car and the lines show... oh well... I don't have ANY rock chips and most people I know who do not have clear bras have rock chips.
I'd recommend staying away from a regular bra here in Arizona and sticking with a clear bra... they may be more expensive; but they are definitely better for the car.

I am not a fan of the way the "clear" guard products look, however, I did the front of my black MB. A week or two ago a car in front of me flipped up a 2 foot x 2 foot piece of sheet metal and (since I could not change lanes to avoid it) it caught the very far right edge of the front bumper and then scrapped along most of the length of the car and rear wheel well arch.
The major impact cut all the way through through the stoneguard, but did not get into the paint... the side of the car did not do as well.
The stuff actually works pretty f'n well.
