Boost Gauge Suggestions.
Boost Gauge Suggestions.
I want to put a boost gauge in my car. I would like it be on the steering wheel column if possible, so it's easy to see during pressing situations. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what meter to use? Digital? Analog? I want it to be relatively small and not too obvious.

I only have the ones by the shifter.... I know that speed gallery makes a pod along side the left pillar...

I suggest you get one with a memory function. When the engine is running near redline and you are traveling fast there is no time to look at the boost gauge.
My choice was the Apexi gauge with peak memory and redlight warning. Not a cheap gauge at close to $300.

Thanks Mark. That's a cool setup you have. I've also been contimplating a data logger and a boost controller like your. I may have to convert the awsome CD holder into an instrument area like you have done. It would be cool to have the boost gauge at "center ice" thought (hockey reference for you NHL fan's - Go Oilers!).
yes I had the HKS one with memory as well... and I believe its a very functional tool especially when the BAR is so slow and inaccurate...
