Great time (and the best magazine ever btw...) for a 4 door sedan!
It says the tires were PZero Corsa and not the normal ones ? Do you have the whole article somewhere online or should I go and buy it ? (of course that's the recommended option )

i don't know how many of you have driven an M5 or M6 but the top end acceleration is absolutely ridiculous and according to Motor Trend past 130 mph it accelerates faster than a Ferrari F430... they said that derestricted (from155mph) that the M5 would most likely be around 8:00 and the M6 would easily break into the 7:xx's...

yes... but acceleration wise the M's are in a completely different league... it's like comparing an M3 to an Elise... yeah on paper their acceleration times are identical but in the real world the M3 would kill an elise... we aren't magazine racing here.

Very true, but when i drove my friend Jon's new M5, who's a member on here it felt like a slug on the stiffest everything setting, s6 you name it, i loved the car but god was it slow?!? My turbo pulled so hard from 50-120, like 5-6cl's!

RS4 is pretty impressive though!

haha. well duh martin. 50-120. the M5 is such a dog below 100... i am willing to bet after 120 he would have caught up to you pretty quickly. i driven one up to about 165 and once it hit 110 mph it feels like the things second engine comes on.

EDIT: sorry i just realized you weren't stock. i forgot. scratch that.

Nah man i would have been 15 cl's by then, dont forget im lightweight and modded, my engine pulls just as hard up top

But i sure would love to try one of those at a real highs peed on highway, i believe it against a stock turbo, not modded!

The M5 don't have the massive toque like TT, especially our mod. TT. From 50-160mph M5 can out run a stock TT by 1-2 car length but even not stage 2

I don't think the M5 is a slug, it's just that Martin's (iLLM3) TT is abnormally fast! Honestly when we did a run he jumped out at least 5 cars to 120. I wasn't in the most optimal settings (to m5 owners: s5, p500 (no 500s), edc normal), but still I got burned pretty bad. I think I could hang a little better with the right setting, but a stock m5 is no match for a mildly modded TT. period. I'm still proud of the beast though, she tried her best.

We need to do another run soon... And the RS4 is amazing! I love the seats in it
