The New EXIGE by LOTUS runs a 4.0 sec from 0-60mph.... that is as quick as our stock 996TTs... here's the video to check it out...

It weighs next to nothing, though. It's like a go-kart with horsepower...

 

Autoweek did an in depth test on the car last week, May 29th issue and the best they came up with was
0-60 5.16
0-100km/h 5.7
Quarter mile 13.95@ 98.9
That is a far cry from 4 secs, something isnt stock. Kevin

 

That car is supercharged

 

did you ever ride in one? It is not a car but a track toy. Cant use for much of anything else, very small no room and not a daily driver at all.. So not really comparing apples to apples when compared to our grand tourers

 

That's the supercharged Exige S, might do 0-60 in 4.0, but that's probably the only impressive time it will post, handling and track times its a diff story! The mustang GT wasnt far behind for god sake, plus it could prob hang with the turbo for like 5 seconds before we go on to our top0 speed, exige is stuck at 148 mph

Cool car though, from a highway pull it wont be quick even with its light weight!

 

I guess this car is only good for light to light type racing... haha... but nonetheless, 1.8S/C pushing 0-60 in 4 sec is pretty impressive... in my opinion of course!..
