The 'clean' question...
The 'clean' question...
We all know black and midnight blue are very hard to keep clean, and silver and gray are likely the easiest - but what about white? I have no winters here, no snow, but lots of dust and salty ocean air (not enough for rust, obviously, but enough for salt residue on the surface). I still favor white most of all, but think silver is best for keeping clean, and it's a heck of a lot easier to find silver than white. The white ones I find usually have graphite gray or savanna beige interiors - not my cup of tea.
Well, I agree with you. After the darker colors (black, midnight blue, etc), white is the hardest to keep clean. Anything that gets etched into the paint becomes very noticable and the color begins to look very dull when dirty. Silver is by far the easiest to keep looking clean as it hides swirl marks and does not show dirt as much as white.
I personally have no problems keeping up with my car which is White. I clean it once a week and just dust it on a regular basis. I also love the Graphite Gray interior, it personally makes me feel a little bit of luxury IMHO.....If you want a clean car 24-7 then go with Silver with Black interior
I agree with JC, I have no problems keeping up with my car which is White. I wash and wax it once a week. Also my car is not a daily driver so it is a little easier to maintain. Go with Silver with Black interior it always looks clean.
Curses!!! You white TT owners are not helping!! I was just about resigned to silver (my 2nd choice to white) until you spoke up. I'm not having much luck finding used white turbos ('02 or '03) with black interiors - in fact, I can't find any nationwide.
