Well just picked up my baby...new turbos, ported headers, Al intake plenum, Si boost hoses, 5bar FPR, Sachs stage 2 clutch LWFW...So I have to break her in nice and gentle ...no boost for the first fifty. It is almost impossible to do...though I now have 9 heat cycles on her . She just wants to go!!!

This weekend should be fun!

I remember having the same problem when I broke in a new pair of turbos. As hard I as tried, sometimes it was impossible to keep the car out of boost.

I can think of worse problems.

Break them in a little more..... I did.... if u can.... it will go a long way....

 

OK great P-zen master...so how long do you think...I have 10 heat cycles on them with no boost (75 miles). I am planning on the next 50 to do limited .3 boost intermittently, then 100 with regular boost, but not really getting on it. Is this OK?

 

I would do 250 miles with less then .5 bars of boost... then get on it...

i stayed outa boost for 75 miles it was very hard ............. when ifinally reprogramed it was a wonderful thing........... 6 month later no probs
