My car has been in RWD mode (pulled driveshaft) for a few months. The weight is still there, but it is RWD and PSM works fine.
The car is not harder to launch and has amazing grip even at ~ 600HP.

You remove the nose cover, the output shaft and place a GT2 nose cover back on and the tranny now is a 2WD. We have done this to the 993TT for years.
