a little off topic but what did you do to the car to lighten it to 3040lbs?

GRussell from here recently achieve close to that but needed pretty extreme measures taken. Are you in the same stages as him?

 

lol..i have the fabspeed straight pipes (no exhaust/100cel cats), i think g is running an exhaust..i have one recaro pole position cloth with lightweight aluminum mounts.no passenger seat.., stripped trunk, 12lb hawker battery, 1/4 fuel.....now i have added a little weight w/ the tequipment roll bar....i think g is a little lighter than me w/ the lexan and rs parts (carbon trunk/ doorpanels)....i weighed it at a local truck stop...my next step is to get rid of these heavy non hollowspokes and maybe get some of those 14/16 lb carbon wheels ..after that...more stripping..lol...must get under 3000 lbs...


i'm an expert at stripping, my integra used to weight 2600lbs, now its just a 1900 lb shell/engine/rollcage.
