my can sat for 8 days . ran perfect last time out .in third gear coffed out out on hard acc. then just seemed doggie.... next i noticed very slow rpm advance after 5000 , any ideas cleaned my maf .will try a test drive in an hour os so. the temp is about 90 here.. checked hoses they look fine no cell lights except my stablization light came on for a split second on hard acc. in 1st thanks oin advance

 

sounds like limp mode to me. I have been in it twice in the past month. disconnect your battery for about 10 minutes.

i had no warning lights...just could not boost over .7 bar.

also check your manual for the radio code. if not go to your dealer and get it.

Uh...the ECU. The cars are fairly smart and they don't want you to do any irreversable damage, so the ECU takes over and doesn't let the car perform at its peak (Not really a technical explanation, but I think you get it).

 

If u overboost and hit 1.3 bars... taht usually will do it...
find out whats causing it.... what mods do u have??? I forgot

 

s cargo headers (large tubes) europipe loud,giac , kevins 16s , gt2 intercoolers, ssk,evo air box,dvs, think thats it. the car has run for 4 or 5 months with those mods..... thinking maybe my maf stumbled and triped the limp m cleaned the maf and all runs fine now thanks steve
