Yes Marty, Todd K has been doing custom ICs for a few years(himself).
Scott and alexander both have them. I did my own with the help of Todd(sizing and spec help). I ordered 3 sets of different sizes and we went to work. Todd approved my design and it looks like they will perform great.
The trick is also to use as much as available space for the end tanks... and yes there are better and worse designs. With that said, I believe that, as long as the evoms ICs are bar and plate- I believe they are getting them form the same source as I, then they are great for the price. Even $3K for the pair is fair. Trust me I know what goes into making these...
On another note, the evoms endtanks were colored black. what material are the end tanks... hope they are not plastic like the stock ones...
You guys get them and stop wining... its the best option for those living in hot climates to date. I would choose ICs over headers anytime... if I had to choose. And they are direct replacement... alot of R&D went into this.

EVOMS' intercoolers are bar and plate, and the end tanks are metal, not plastic (the one in the photo appears to be powder coated.

aluminum casted end tanks? are the hose attachments and the end tanks made from the same casting? seems if it's made from aluminum casting could have some leak or weak hose connections over time. strength for castings are not the same as forged 6061 or 7071.

I believe (if my memory serves me correctly) stock IC's are approx. 76% efficient and GT2's are 78% efficient.

No Oak, reread the post. You do not reuse the hose connection. You use the high pressure band clamps. The ends are removed from the hose and the new intercoolers are built to have that end slip in. You will not be able to use a stock end with these intercoolers.

stephan, do you have a pic of what this hose attach looks like. hmmm.....is the hose attach just a slip on fit with clamps directly onto the cast ends?
