. im sure we'll hear from him soon. How was the weather up at the track, anyone know?
Come on guys, let keep his thread civil. Martin came on a posted his dyno graph. Great number (without the correction). Stop the bashing and lets all be more positive, as 6speed member usually are!

Well guys, been away in the City all damm weekend, just got back. Friday night i was on the way to the track, it took me 3 1/2 hours to get there, it was insane. To find out they wouldnt let me run #1, they were closing at 9:30-10 not 11 and i didnt have a fire suit, i got ****ed and wasted so much gas and time!
Wednesday fella's, stay tuned! They have street car night wed/ and friday's, this time im leaving well before the traffic and not last minute!
Thanks for the comments!

Sincere congrats on the dyno results Martin.
I can't imagine why the guys at E-town would tell you you need a firesuit. They ususally let you post a run then based on your time, will tell you what you need to run again if you're lacking certain safety gear. They'd be more likely to tell you that you need a cage before requiring a firesuit. Fire jacket maybe? Oh and no shorts!
Too bad they closed the track out by the Hamptons. Much closer than E-town.
Post numbers quick - the vultures are hovering.

Unless you show up with a full blown top fuel dragster or funny car on a trailor, no special equipment (other than a helmut) should be required until and unless you run a sub-11.5 second ET. See e.g., http://www.importdrag.com/2006 NHRA Safety Overview.pdf .
