Question

I am looking for the same...

I have a leather part that I would like to replace, alcantara would be my favorite.

Where/who could be the best place to get as good or as OEM Porsche alcantara?

Why not have the stock piece recovered in it, the stuff only runs around 60-80$ a yard on the roll.

Someone on the site had there steering wheel recovered in it for ~300$ or so, a headliner or seat inserts while being more labor to remove but should technically not be that difficult to recover or replace.

I know that when I find a set of GT3 seats I intend recover them in this material matched to the interior of my car.

I just recently sent my skyline to have the interior done at a shop who is known for doing a good amound of Porsches too. I chose dark grey alcantara and black leather.

Anyway the price for covering the roof liner, all pillars, seats, rear deck, ebrake boot, shift boot, door panels and brand new floor carpeting in the cabin and new floor mats was quoted at about 4k canadian. I didnt do the steering wheel but he mentioned thay are pretty difficult to do, and yes, the price is exactly 300$ to have it done. Due to the design on my steering wheel in the skyline he preferred not to do it.

His prices just depend on the cost of material and labour, not the type of car he is working on so he said my porsche would cost a little less than the skyline if i wanted to do it as well. Hope this helps you out!

I need to replace the full upper part of the dash...near to the defroster and specially where is the light of the alarm the OEM lether doesn't look good.

My goal is to replace this part with alcantara like this TechArt Cayman varsion:
