Best Price/diy For K24turbos&headers ?
Do you guys know who sells the k24 turbos kits and headers cheaper?NEW
Can i install those myself?or is a big deal?
do i need to change anything else at my car for the turbos to work better?
I already have PSI exchaust bailey's diverter valves BMC air filter and (upsolute chip)a list for now i maybe go with (GIAC).
i really try to save some money so i can upgrade my car as cheaper as i can,
plus
i love to work on cars!!!ESPECIALLY MY CAR!
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

From the shop manual. I have not done this . You should probably use tubing wrenches on the oil lines.
1)remove rear bumper cover
2)remove center heat shield and intercooler assembly and side heat shield(s)
3)undo upper oil pipe at the uppermost connection while counterholding the larger connection below with an "open ring wrench" (tubing wrench)
4)remove upper turbo support nut/bolt
5)pull vac line
6)undo 2 oil pipes on oil container
7)pull pressure pipe from turbo (hose clamp)
8)undo 4 turbo flange to cat nuts
9)undo header from head
10)remove turbo with header
Install (use new seals/metal gaskets)
1)fit turbo to header
2install header to head, torque in an inner to outer pattern to 18 ft lbs then to 25 ft lbs
3)tighten 4 flange to cat nuts
4)tighten 2 oil tank lines 22 ft lb
5)attach upper turbo support then attach upper oil line 15 ft lb
6)install side heat shields
7)install pressure pipe with hose clamp
8)install intercooler 17 ft lb
9)tighten sheetmetal nuts on side heat shields
10)install intercooler hoses , "snap" into place
11)carry out "oil level and tightness test"
It might be a good idea to crank the car with the fuel pump relay pulled to oil the turbos before you start the engine.

Billy,
I suggest that first you do some research to determine what level you wish to go to...550, 600, 640, etc. Once you decide, call the various tuners like Stephen, Alex, Kevin, Speed gallery, Evo, PSI, etc. and compare prices for the bolt on parts with programming for equivilent packages. Each tuner will have a slightly different spin on their stages and you will have to weed through the information. It's interesting and fun. Go with the tuner you feel most comfortable with - you will begin to develop a feel after talking/emailing to each one a few times. See how promptly calls and emails are returned. IMHO, the ability to contact the tuner with questions and get immediate answers is very important. You do not want a catalog house with an operator. I know you are somewhat local...if you need any help, contact me via PM and I will try to give you some ideas.

Ari,
I like them a lot, however, the difference is subtle. I have the B&M SSK and shift engagement at high RPM has always been very good.
Everything seems just a little tighter/more precise, including the shifting. To me, the biggest difference seems to be the flatter cornering combined with an overall feeling of a tighter, more complete package. There is a heightened sense of chassis feedback.
