Clutch for 996 TT with 704 RWHP and 685 Ftlbs Torque
Hi Guys,
My name is Francisco and I am from Puerto Rico. I currently own a 2004 996 TT with a nice setup of EVOMS/AWE/GIAC and other things that at this moment are giving to us 704 RWHP and 685 Ft-lbs of Torque. We are looking for some advice in the clutch as till last friday we were using an EVOMS Sachs stage III clutch system which partially burned down after second gear. We are currently drag racing and in our last meeting this past friday before the clutch went into slippage, we have a 1.6012 in the first 60ft.
Could some one here let us know if for our horsepower applications have been use already triple, dual clutches such as Tilton, quartermaster etc?
Anyone who can recommend us which type and brandname to use, and also its availability/pricing?
Thnxs,
Francisco

Talk to Rob King at http://www.scargoracing.com/ I have a triple disc Wevo setup for my GT700, no slipping on mine at all. I dropped my tranny two weeks ago and there was little to no wear on my full face discs. Hayden at WEVO http://www.wevo.com/ would be another person to talk to, he provides this package with Rob King.
Hope that helps some.
Robs clutch is supposed to be good for 1000 HP according to him.

Hi Mr Renntech,
When you say you have the new ceramic clutch from EVOMS, do you mean the new clutch todd is offering for his kits (750,800and 900)?
We were using the stage 3 Sachs from him that it comes for the GT700 kit (Carbon-Kevlar), but in our case it looks like we are overexceeding this spec parameter.

great News Mr Renntech,
Thnxs for your feedback. As you may know from this clutch setup towards more power the only solutions presented will be the multiple disks setups.
Any special breakin period and instructions for this new ceramic clutch?
