I have a good buddy that works up at Ruf, so with the afternoon off I took my 02TT over to see him and some of the eyecandy they have.

Pics of this RT12 have been posted before. So this isn't anything earthshattering, but I took a few pics as it made my SY Turbo look commonplace sitting next to it.

As many of you now it is painted a flat silver which cost $12,000.
Depending on the light and the angle of the shot you can see how it has a hint of blue reflection to it. Hottest P-Car I have ever seen and from what I was told leaves a CGT in the dust.

Has a kind of Pearl effect paintwork, subtle, very nice!

 

What I dont understand is why many owners on this site are reluctant to buy these cars (cost aside) instead of speaning the major $$ they do on mods anyway, this car out of the box is insane in every catagory! And looks wise it is sweeeet!

I know who the owner is, but not personally. I was told he drove it from Dallas to Telluride, CO and back the first weekend with the car.

My bud Jonathan took me for a ride in a RTurbo 550 which was sweet.
Hans also took me for a spin in his 997 RKompressor as well.

 

That RT12 does looks hot. So is that GT Silver. Hey man Speed Yellow never looks dull next any car.

Does anyone know what the Rt12 bodykit costs? I know the supercharger for the 997S is $23K, but I am curious about the kit.

If I get any mods, I'll go big or go home - i.e. off to Ruf it goes.

 

i *just* saw a red (maybe orange?) rt12 parked in front of a restaurant in south miami. looks great in person.

They had the tangerine orange one there as well, but for whatever reason I didn't take any pics of it.
