Long term storage advice

I finally got a 996 turbo, but unfortunately need to store it for a while, probably months at a time while I am travelling. Does anyone have any advice for storing while in the garage? I have a soft breathable car cover on the way, but what about disconnecting battery, putting it on jacks ...etc?

Any and all thoughts (outside of driving it) welcome :-)

Thank you.

I highly recommend a battery tender. It will save you from replacing the battery. I purchased mine from Sears Hardware for @ $30.00 Maybe add some air to the tires to prevent flat spots.
